Principal Researcher
Mae AlMansoori received her M.Sc degree in 2019 in mechanical engineering from Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. She served as a researcher in Aerospace Research and Innovation Center focusing on structural designing. Currently, she is working as a senior mechanical researcher at the Directed Energy Research Center, Technology Innovation Institute, Abu Dhabi, UAE and a PhD student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Helmut Schmidt University / University of the German Federal Armed Forces; applying state-of-the-art mechanical engineering processes to high power electromagnetic sources.
Her research interests cover structural designing, materials and mechanical analysis, additive manufacturing, and heat exchangers. She is currently working on switched oscillators and high power microwave systems such as the Vircator focusing on optimisation problems using statistical methods. Furthermore, she is introducing her knowledge in the current electromagnetic accelerator project at the Directed Energy Research Center. In 2020, She received a "Young Scientist Award" from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) - German Section during Kleinheubacher Tagung 2020 conference.
Abdulla Bin Bader AlAli is a third-year student at New York University Abu Dhabi, double majoring in Business, Organizations and Society, and Political Science. He has represented the UAE in the Arab Children's Parliament and the UAE Children's Parliament, where he served as Chair of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports, and Media Affairs. Abdulla has also represented the UAE at international events, including the United Nations Human Rights Council and COP27. Passionate about public policy social development and early childhood education , he actively engages in initiatives that promote best practices in education and social development.
