While there are many seasonal occasions, the need for an International School Day remains, a day for everyone who has contributed to a school's growth and development to express their sincere gratitude. Whenever I write a letter or calculate a number, I remember the early days of learning the basics of reading and math in the halls of my beautiful school. When I rise to an administrative position, I recall the foundation upon which that success was built. As I present media programs or win awards, I am reminded of my humble beginnings on the school radio. And when I recite in public or have the honor of serving on a Quran competition judging panel, I remember my first moments reciting the Quran at school events. Yes, we must always say it: thank you, my school. Thank you, Al-Ittihad Private School.
